Map.jpg (34158 bytes)Once in Delhi, no one misses the Qutub Minar. And on your away to the Qutub Minar, or while returning from there, just a stone's throw away is the Indian Handicrafts Emporium, a museum of the largest collection of traditional Indian artifacts.

A life sized white elephant sculpture in front of the IHE gates is almost a landmark on the Mehrauli road that leads to Qutub Minar. With the ‘King’s procession’ painted on the front wall of the premise, this red building can hardly escape any eyes. Step into the premise and come face to face with the widest and the most varied collection of Indian artifacts. To add to this, is the unique opportunity of watching some master craftsmen at work.

It is this commitment of a true interview with Indian art and crafts, which has drawn numerous celebrities to the doorsteps of the IHE. The IHE visitor list boasts of literally a who’s who of the world. Will you be there?

And what’s more, if you like something and want to carry it home as a fond memory of your journey, we have the perfect arrangement for you. The IHE will not only arrange for its packing but can also get it delivered at your doorsteps... once you’re back home!
